PUPILS showed support for their school by taking part in a sponsored World Cup walk.
Holy Cross Church of England Primary School in Uckfield held the walk to help fund school projects.
The World Cup Walk was sponsored by the Holy Cross Parents and Friends Association, who helped out by offering the children some half time refreshments and encouragement.
The school children dressed up in the colours of The Netherlands, Spain, Brazil and Italy but the most popular nation by far was England. The prize for best dressed team went to Panda Class, who, unlike the senior team so far, managed to pick up a win for England.
