A MUSEUM has received a major boost from lottery funding for a community project. Brighton Toy and Model Museum received £57,900 from the Heritage Lottery Fund for the project “Toys in the Community: Valuing Memories of dolls, teddy bears and construction toys”.
The two-year project will see volunteers collecting memories from a range of people and using them to create a website, book and touring exhibition.
Anyone in the Brighton and Hove area who is interested in getting involved, either as a volunteer or by being interviewed, is invited to the museum on Wednesday July 9 between 5.30pm and 7.30pm. Alternatively, contact the museum on 01273749494.
