Cigars, a clock and a silver platter were just some of the items stolen in a burglary.
£8000 worth of items were stolen from a house in Foxcombe Lane, South Harting, sometime between June 15 and June 20.
The items stolen were; a silver plated platter measuring 30'' x 18'' with various alcoholic drinks bottles upon it, an antique carriage clock by 'Barber & Whitwell of York c.1820', a silver calendar box engraved "Xmas 1910" and ''C.E.W", and a ceramic lamp along with cigar humidor containing around 12-15 Havana Cigars and other items.
Detective Constable Jon Tizard said; "If you have seen any suspicious activity in the area during that period, or learn of the whereabouts of the items, or of their being offered for sale, we would like to hear from you.
"Please call us on 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 1670 of 20/6. You can also contact the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
