A “HOLIDAY home like no other” is in the running for a prestigious design award.
Hove-based duo Koru Architects and Jim Miller Design have been named on the shortlist for the Sunday Times British Homes Awards.
The sections of the futuristic looking lakeside holiday home are designed to be pre-fabricated off-site in factory conditions and boasts outstanding low energy, low water consumption and a Code for Sustainable Homes level six rating.
The build cost of the home is estimated at £350,000 plus the cost of landscaping, garage and incoming services.
The voting portal was launched on Sunday and it will be live for a few weeks with the winner set to be announced in September.
