A 73-year-old man was assaulted while walking his dogs.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident in Willingdon, East Sussex, at 6.20am on Thursday (June 26).
The victim was walking his two dogs along Seven Sisters Road when a man known to him pushed him over, leaving him shaken but unhurt.
The suspect then drove away in a red car.
A 31-year-old Eastbourne man was arrested on suspicion of assault. He was questioned and bailed until Sunday July 13.
