A fire has broken out at a house in Chichester.
Crews were called to the semi-detached three-storey building in Stockbridge Road at around 4pm today.
A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said six fire engines and an aerial ladder platform had been sent to the scene.
The fire started in a second floor bedroom and spread to the roof.
It has now been put out but crews are expected to stay at the scene for several hours to make sure the building is safe.
Nobody was injured in the incident although the Red Cross support team has been called out to offer help.
The house is next to the A27 and people leaving the Goodwood Festival of Speed and other road users are being warned to expect delays and disruption.
