Eastbourne's emergency services display will be broadcast live on internet television for the first time.

The town’s ‘999 Weekend' event will be available to watch on online television network TVS and on the Sussex Police website.

TVS is filming the entire weekend including live action displays and interviews. TVS' last transmission was on the ITV network 22 years ago but it has come out of retirement to re-launch its Sussex-focused network at the event.

The action takes place between 11am and 5pm on Saturday July 5 and Sunday July 6 at the Western Lawns, King Edward’s Parade, Eastbourne.

Visitors will be treated to displays and exhibitors from the Newfoundland Dog events and Display Team, RNLI, Coastguard, East Sussex Fire and Rescue, South East Coast Ambulance Service and Sussex Police.
