A woman is in hospital after a lorry and a motorbike were involved in a crash. 

Police are appealing for witnesses to a collision between a lorry and motorbike in Littlehampton.

Emergency services were called to the A259 Littlehampton by pass near to the junction with Eldon Way, Littlehampton, at about 6.30am this morning to a serious collision.

The white Volvo lorry and the blue Triumph Sprint motorbike were both travelling westbound and as they moved off from traffic lights, they collided.

The rider of the bike, a 47-year-old woman from Goring, was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital with a serious injury to her arm.

No-one else was injured.

Anyone who saw what happened is asked to contact the police on 101 or email quoting serial 173 of 30/6.
