A man driving a convertible tried to sell a man a watch before attacking him and stealing his phone.
Police are appealing for witnesses to an assault on an 18-year-old man, from Bexhill, who was attacked in Sackville Road, Bexhill, on Thursday (26 June) between 5.55pm and 6.15pm.
The victim was walking along the road when a man in a Black BMW convertible pulled up alongside him and tried to sell him a watch.
When the victim ran away the suspect followed him, punched him and stole his Nokia mobile phone.
There is believed to be one suspect who is described as a black man, aged 20 to 30, and of medium build with short afro hair.
