There is still time to have your say on proposed 20mph speed limits in Worthing.

West Sussex County Council is seeking the views of residents and business in the town over proposals for the new limit.

A letter has been posted to households and business in Worthing, asking them to decide ‘yes’ or ‘no’.

The deadline for responses is Thursday July 31.

Paul High, Worthing county local Committee chairman said: “If you haven’t returned your postal form yet the county council urges you to do so.

“Nothing is decided, so this is a genuine opportunity for people across the Borough to let us know how they feel.”

If you have a Worthing postal address and have not received a letter, or it has been mislaid, you can get another sent to you.

E-mail: 20mph@westsussex.gov.uk or ring 01243 642105.

This is the first stage of a public consultation about the issue.

The responses, accepted by postal return only, will help the Worthing county local committee decide if it should take the consultation to a second formal stage.
