Depression is something so sad and so debilitating. Far more needs to be done to help people.

Some who are suffering don't even realise or know they have it, they just have a black cloud which envelops them. It is hell and I wish more could be done to help people who are at the point of suicide.

I hope the poor train driver gets the help and support they will now need.

Horrific news for family & friends. A needless waste of life - help for depression should be more easily available, and sufferers should know where to find it. My thoughts are with all and I hope you can find your own way through this terrible time. xxxxx

Why does everyone suddenly become an expert on mental health when these things happen?

The guy might have been in a real happy place in his last few moments, and is certainly a peace now.

None of you knew him, no-one knows why it happened.....let's all be happy that he achieved his aim.

My thoughts are with the train driver....poor sod.

And why do you comment on every story about suicide? You obviously have no understanding of mental illness yet you always leave remarks here belittling any sympathetic comments. Every time. It's quite sickening. Can you imagine if a member of their family was reading this? Do you think your comments would help them?

You are the MFE guy who used to comment as ZeeGee FFS, or similar, correct? I think most people on here have a better understanding of mental health than you do.
