TWO BRIGHTON heroes, an unlikely duo, have met up at the World Cup.

Albion defender Inigo Calderon, who has just signed a new one-year contract with the club, chose to travel out to Brazil during the close season for the World Cup and met up with Seagulls fan Norman Cook.

Calderon told The Argus that he saw a poster in Rio advertising Fatboy’s concert. He then managed to get in touch via a mutal friend to meet up.

The Spaniard said: “When I went to see him at his hotel it was like he had been a friend of mine all my life, so it was a really good experience.”
