A 21-year-old man has died after being hit by a car on the A27.
On Saturday, emergency services were called to a collision on the eastbound A27 at Falmer between a car and a pedestrian.
The man, believed to be a student from America, was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital but sadly died on Sunday afternoon.
PC Kelly Newton said: "We are appealing to anyone who witnessed the collision or saw the pedestrian leading up to it to contact police on 101 or email collision.appeal@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting Operation Telemark."
