A BRIGHT student has been awarded an esteemed studentship after her success at Cambridge University.
Hannah Bower, 21, of Hammonds Gardens, Burgess Hill, has been awarded a Double First BA Honours in English Literature.
Miss Bower has now been accepted to study for a masters degree at St Hilda’s College, at the University of Oxford, where she has been awarded the Jeremy Griffiths Memorial Studentship.
Hannah’s father, Andrew Bower, said: “We are very proud of all Hannah has achieved. “She’s worked really hard and loves her subject – so it is great for her to get this recognition. “She was very fortunate to have had inspirational teachers at all her schools, who have nurtured her passion for English literature from an early age.”
Miss Bower achieved four A* A levels at Central Sussex College.
