ONE of East Yorkshire’s top golfing and hospitality venues has won an ‘Excellence’ award from review website Trip Advisor for 2014.
The KP Club, at Kilnwick Percy, near Pocklington, has been rated consistently ‘excellent’ by travellers using the ratings and review website, leading to the hotel being presented with the certificate.
The club’s Events & Marketing Manager Emily Stephenson said the certificate was a huge source of pride for the hotel staff. “This is a real coup for us, and we couldn’t be more proud and thrilled," she said.
“To be rated so highly by Trip Advisor travellers means a huge deal to us, as feedback from genuine travellers is critical to a hotel’s good reputation, and we are delighted that our high standards are noticed and appreciated by our guests."
One Trip Advisor reviewer, who stayed in May, gave the venue the top score of five stars, and commented: “I have just come back from a long weekend at The KP. We stayed in a Huxtable suite which is classed as a hotel room. We simply did not want to leave."
