A man has been charged with a string of offences.

Nathan Bruno, 25, of no fixed address, was charged after attempting to steal money from a woman walking in Western Road, St Leonards, on June 22 and a day later stealing a mobile phone from a Spanish student in St Margaret's Road.

He has also been charged with attempted robbery, robbery, assault on police and resisting arrest. He has been remanded to appear before Crown Court on July 31 and bailed until September 19 for possession of intent to supply a Class A drug.
