A teenager was sexually assaulted in the early hours of the morning.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the 19-year-old woman was attacked in Hastings on June 29.
She was walking between Yates's bar in Robertson Passage and Harold Place, Hastings, when she was approached by a man.
She did not get a clear look at her attacker but she thinks he is black and may have been in a group.
Detective Constable Paul Semple, of Hastings CID, said: "We would also like to talk to any taxi driver who recalls picking up the victim, who was in a distressed state. He did not charge her a fare."
Anyone with information should call police on 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk, quoting serial 1349 of 29/6.
