Four guitars were stolen from a Brighton home.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the instruments were stolen from a home in Rose Hill Terrace between 7.45pm and midnight on Tuesday July 8.
Detectives say intruders entered the basement flat after forcing open the front door.
The guitars were all in cases - three of them black and one grey - and were stolen along with a large rucksack.
PC Heather McDonald said: "Someone may have seen the instruments being taken out of the house or could have seen them offered for sale.
"They are quite distinctive so if you see them or saw anyone acting suspiciously in the area please contact us."
