Firefighters urge residents to be wary when cooking
A fire crew were called out three times overnight because people had over-heated their food.
The fire officers from Preston Circus Community Fire Station were in and out of the station on a regular basis and have issued a message to the people of Sussex.
A station spokesman said: "If people are making food late at night, we would urge them to remain cautious.
"It can become dangerous if people lose track of what they are doing and preventing this sort of thing from escalating is very avoidable."
