A SECTION of the A27 will be closed for resurfacing for nine nights from today.

The eastbound carriageway between the Adur flyover and Hangleton turn off will be closed between 8pm and 6am.

The Highways Agency is instructing motorists to follow signed diversion routes via the A283, A259, A270, and the A293.

The A27 will also be closed between the Manor Road roundabout and Sussex Pad junction overnight, between 8pm and 6am, on July 17.
