A parade of models traded in the catwalk for the tarmac as they strutted their stuff for a flash mob fashion show.

The six girls and two boys took to the streets of Brighton on Saturday outside Joules in East Street, Pretty Eccentric in Bond Street, Laundry Boutique in Prince Albert Street and Rock Lobster in George Street, Hove. They burst out of the participating shops in their outfits and modelled a rehearsed three minute routine to music.

Michelle Scott, from Pretty Eccentric, said: “I just wanted to say a massive thank you to everyone involved in today’s flash mob. I have had a big smile on my face all afternoon – it was brilliant.”

For the show outside Pretty Eccentric the model’s, decked out in the finest 1920s vintage fashion, performed a Charleston dance.
