A PARLIAMENTARY candidate has been given the backing of senior figures from her own party.

Labour’s Deputy Leader Harriet Harman came to Brighton to help launch the election campaign of her party’s Brighton Pavilion candidate Purna Sen.

Former Pavilion MP David Lepper also backed Dr Sen for parliament.
