A writer is launching a reading group on short stories and poems.
The Reading Round at Fabrica Gallery, Duke Street,Brighton, will be led by a professional, published author in each session and stories and poems are being read aloud so members will not have to do any homework beforehand.
Anyone wanting to know what makes a great short story or poem is invited to attend.
Jackie Wills, organiser of the Reading Round, said: “This is an opportunity to explore new ideas and discover writers you may not have encountered before.”
The Reading Round will start on October 7 and meet every Tuesday from 2pm until 3:30pm.
Attendance is free but places are limited and participants must make a commitment for the duration of the group.
Meetings will be held in three 10-week blocks from October to December 2014, January to March 2015 and April to June 2015.
