Hollywood may feature Elvis Presley and Marlon Brando on its hall of fame but a Sussex school has launched its own prestigious pavement.
Mile Oak Primary School in Portslade officially opened its Children’s Writing Walk Of Fame on Tuesday – and it is believed to be the only one in the world.
As well as opening the new walkway, three names were added to its existing Reading Walk Of Fame.
The school has attempted to spice up the way youngsters approach reading and writing, which led to it being shortlisted for the Times Education Supplement Awards 2014 for an English and Literacy Award.
