BRIGHTON’S Actually Gay Men’s Chorus and Actually Gay Women’s Chorus are raising money to prevent homophobic bullying.

The choruses are raising money for Inclusion For All, a training strategy working in schools across the UK.

They are teaming up with Shaun Dellenty, who has been awarded for his anti-bullying work in schools and nominated for awards for being a positive LGBT role model.

He said: “The funds kindly being raised by Actually will help IFA to provide vital teacher training across the UK.

“I am extremely grateful for this partnership, actually.”

They will be raising funds over the next 12 months to support work to reduce negative damage in the lives of children and make schools safe places for all.

The Actually Gay Women’s Chorus is performing at Pride – In the Name of Love on July 31 at St Andrew’s Church on Waterloo Street in Hove to raise money.

Tickets are available online at www.actuallygwc.org or from the Bull Dog on St James’s Street in Brighton and The Iron Duke on Waterloo Street in Hove.
