A SINGALONG to period tunes will form part of a First World War remembrance event tomorrow.
The Great War Reminiscence ceremony is being held at Woodingdean Community Centre, Warren Road, Brighton, from 10am till 4pm.
Margaret Holding, Debbie Grant and Sally Wells (pictured) have been distributing fliers and posters branded with the iconic First World War poster featuring Herbert Kitchner.
The First World War’s centenary is on Monday, July 28, marking one hundred years since Austria and Hungary declared war on one another – sparking a chain of events which led to the four year conflict in which nine million combatants were killed.
