A man was attacked and robbed by a gang of up to ten teenagers in a midnight attack.
The 33-year-old victim was approached by a gang of up to ten teenage boys at the recreation ground behind Clair Hall in Haywards Heath on Saturday July 19.
He was punched and kicked before the gang stole his bag containing clothing, keys and a mobile phone.
The victim, who had been walking from Perrymount Road towards Oathall Road, sustained cuts and bruises.
The suspects were all described as white, slim and wearing hooded tops.
Detective Constable Mike George said: "We would like to hear from anyone who was in the area around that time and who saw what happened or who has any other information that might help. In particular, the victim saw the group intimidating two other unknown men walking through the park just before he was attacked.
