HEAVY showers are expected this evening across parts of southeast and central southern England.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning of rain, and is warning of localised flooding.
But forecasters said rains are not expected to be as heavy as this morning's storm.
Met meteorologist Mark Wilson said the rest of the week in Sussex was set to be sunny with some showers.
The Environment Agency has not issued flood alerts for the region, but says it is closely monitoring river levels.
A spokesman added: "We also urge people to steer clear of flooding and not to drive through floodwater.
"Thirty centimetres of fast-flowing water is enough to move your car."
