A man walked into a shop and tried to kiss the 17-year-old store attendant before groping her.

Police are appealing for witnesses after the incident in Littlehampton on July 19 around 11am.

The man, who is described as being of Indian/Asian appearance, approached the lone shop attendant and tried to kiss her.

He said his name was Sabeer and touched her over her clothing before leaving.

He is described as being in his early to mid-20s, 5' 9", of slim build, with short dark hair and was clean shaven.

He also spoke with a strong Indian accent.
