A woman has been taken to hospital after being hit by a lorry.
Emergency services were called to High Street, Selsey, shortly after midday today following reports a pedestrian was hit by a large commercial vehicle.
Firefighters from the town’s station had to cut the woman free from under the lorry before she was treated by paramedics.
She was later taken to ambulance by hospital.
Police closed the road while the woman was cut free. It has since been reopened.
Her condition is not yet known.
