A prison which has seen more than 80 inmates escape to freedom is said to be performing well according to a report.
HMP Ford has been given the second highest ranking and said to be meeting the majority of its targets according to the National Offender Management Service annual performance ratings 2013/14. In June, The Argus revealed 89 prisoners were on the run from the open prison including murderers and violent criminals although a number of these have been captured since.
HMP Lewes also received the same three rating in the newly published report.
