An air, sea and land rescue was launched after two paddle boarders went missing.

The concerned mother of two twenty-something men called the coastguard around 8pm on Sunday night (August 3) after the Rustington pair went missing.

They were said to be paddling between Bognor and Littlehampton.

Both Littlehampton lifeboats were launched along with the coastguard helicopter and coastguard members on foot.

After an hour of searching the two turned up at home, unhurt.
