BRIGHTON Pavilion saw a city couple celebrate holy matrimony.
Former Labour councillor for Hove and chairwoman of the Brighton Fringe, Heather James, got married to her long-term partner, Simon Schneider, an antiques dealer for TV show Dickinson’s Real Deal.
The pair, who have been together for 18 years, tied the knot in front of a small group of friends and family yesterday at a ceremony in the Pavilion.
Both Heather and Simon are residents of Brighton and were keen to get married in a place that would mean a lot to them and their guests.
Just like the wedding, the couple have decided to keep it low key for the honeymoon, choosing to spend a few nights in Sussex.
