A pensioner who allowed his front garden to overflow with rubbish has been ordered to pay more than £1,800.
Anthony Hamilton allowed the property in Southcourt Avenue, Bexhill, to become overloaded with various items, including builders’ waste, compost and manure bags The 75-year-old admitted failing to comply with an enforcement notice issued by Rother District Council to clear up the garden and was fined £750 as well as a £75 victim surcharge and court costs of £1,104.
