POLICE are trying to track down a man thought to have smashed a shop window with his fist.

Officers are appealing for witnesses to the incident in Courthouse Street, Hastings, at about 10.20pm on Saturday (August 2).

PC Mark Waughman said: "People may have seen the man smashing the window but not got involved because it was late at night.

"We need to speak to anyone who saw or heard what happened or could have seen the man leaving the scene with his hand bleeding."

The man is described as white, blonde, about 5' 10" and in his late 20s. He was clean-shaven and was wearing a blue or grey hooded top and jeans.
