A DRIVER was pushed onto his car in a suspected road-rage incident near a school.

Two drivers rowed in a layby near Hurst Green Church of England Primary School on July 21.

Police say the altercation followed the driver of a silver Porsche gesturing at the other car to speed up along the A21.

The victim suffered a bruise to his upper left arm.

PC Lloyd Linden said police were appealing for witnesses as the area was busy with school traffic.

Anyone who saw this incident is asked to call 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting 1079 of 22/07.

So the 'victim' pulled over to give the Porsche driver a piece of his mind after being told to speed up, and got a bit more than he bargained for?

I have no sympathy for him. In such instances, either drive a tad quicker OR move over at the earliest opportunity in order to let those in a hurry pass by. Never EVER challenge them to a duel in a lay-by.

Hard to know if you're a witness as it doesn't say (apart from the school name) where this occurred.
