A27 lane closed following crash near Lewes
The A27 has been reopened after a crash this morning.
Traffic continued to be slow westbound between A26 (Southerham Roundabout) and A277 Brighton Road / Ashcombe Hollow (Ashcombe Roundabout) following the accident.
Emergency services were called around 7am with one of the cars involved leaving the road.
Firefighters from Lewes had to help the driver out of the car. They were then taken to hospital by ambulance.
