Police are searching for this man in connection with a sexual assault at a train station.

A man pressed himself up against a lone woman before making sexually explicit comments and suggestions at Horsham station on June 10.

He approached his victim at 5.30pm from behind in the shop at the station.

The woman ran away but he followed her and prevented her from leaving the station by blocking a doorway. As he did this he made sexually explicit comments and suggestions.

The woman shouted at the man to leave her alone, and he eventually left, only to return moments later, making more lewd comments.

PC Michael Gosling said: “This was an extremely frightening ordeal for the woman.

“She was deeply traumatised by the incident, and has been left in fear of seeing this man again.”

As part of their investigation, officers have studied CCTV footage from the station and have released the following images of a man they would like to speak to.

PC Gosling added: “I am confident this man has key information on this assault.

“I would ask the public to look carefully at the images and contact us if they recognise him.”
