Samba-dancing pirates are calling on people to join their parade at the return of a popular carnival.
Worthing Celebration Samba Band is leading the Rotary Carnival Parade - which will feature the UK’s number one Jack Sparrow and Johnny Depp lookalike Melo Sparrow.
But the samba pirates leading the action are calling on fellow sea bandits to dress up and take part in the fun and frolics.
The carnival, on Bank Holiday Monday, August 25, will leave the sea end of Grand Avenue at 12.30pm before making its way along the seafront to Steyne Gardens.
Anyone wishing to join the action should meet at Grand Avenue from 11am.
Hundreds of people are expected to line the streets of the town when the carnival, which has been an annual fixture in Worthing since the 1920s, makes its return.
Free entertainment including a live stage show and a dog show takes place on Steyne Gardens from 12.30pm until 5.00pm. A funfair will be stationed along the seaside promenade.
