Police are hoping to reunite unusual items after a series of burglaries, including a driving licence from 1926.

The plate is a 1926 Borough of West Ham driving licence in the name of Evelyn Bain.

Another item was a Handel's Oratorio Music book from the 1940s, stamped “Woodgrange Methodist Church”.

Detectives from the West Sussex Priority Crime Team are appealing for help in identifying the distinctive property.

On June 17, officers conducted a search of a flat in Burnham Avenue, Bognor.

Many items were recovered, identified as being stolen from residential burglaries in Bognor.

Detective Constable Jon Woolley said: “We still have some distinctive items we are looking to reunite with their rightful owners.”

“If you recognise the items, please contact us via 101 or email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting serial 215 of 16/5.”

Radoslaw Mikus, 33 years, formerly of Sudley Road, Bognor Regis, has been charged with a burglary in Culver Road, Bognor on 16 May and a burglary at Glamis Street on February 25.

He has been remanded in custody to appear at Chichester Crown Court next Tuesday, August 12.
