Car wash fundraiser to heat church
CHURCHGOERS put in some suddy hard work to scrub cars in a fundraiser.
St John’s Church in Burgess Hill held a car wash in a bid to raise some money towards the church heating fund.
The repairs to the church heating, which broke down irrevocably in June, are estimated to cost £100,000.
The event on July 19 between 10am and 3pm also included a cake sale and a second hand book stall.
