Homes without electricity as power cut strikes
Properties have been left without electricity after a power cut hit in the early hours.
Engineers from UK Power Networks are currently working to try and restore supplies to the effected properties in Brighton Road, Lancing.
They have been without power since the early hours and engineers were alerted just after 7.30am.
A spokesman for UK Power Networks said: "Engineers are currently working to restore electricity supplies to customers in the Brighton Road area of Lancing.
"Engineers are investigating the issue to reconnect power as quickly as possible after being alerted at 7.31am today.
"We thank customers for their understanding while we work to fix the problem and apologise for any inconvenience being caused."
