LLAMA bells were ringing at an animal park’s first ever wedding.

Kate Crummy and Alper Aydin were pronounced man and wife in a barn style marriage at The Llama Park at Wych Cross in the Ashdown Forest.

The wedding was attended by some of the park’s most distinguished residents wearing blue and white polka dot bow ties.

Susan Barrow, who works at The Llama Park, said: “We are a very sociable family-run business and know how important it is to celebrate a wedding, a birthday party or anniversary in a way which can be cherished forever – and we put our heart and soul into it.”

The Llama Park is ready to celebrate special occasions after gaining a marriage licence and building a 144-square-metre entertainment barn.

Bobby Schuck, owner of The Llama Park, said: “The park is glorious at night, both in summer and winter, and one of the main attractions is when the park closes to the general public at 5pm, the guests have the park and all its animals to themselves.”

After the resounding success of their first ceremony on July 26, the Llama Park is now looking forward to its next wedding on August 30.
