Church titles get revamp
HISTORIC church titles have been given a revamp.
Bishop of Chichester Martin Warner has signed a pastoral order making changes to the names of two of the diocese’s archdeaconries. The Archdeaconry of Brighton will be known as the Archdeaconry of Brighton and Lewes while the Archdeaconry of Lewes and Hastings will be known as the Archdeaconry of Hastings. Philip Jones is now Archdeacon of Hastings.
