Jack John George, 19, of Tye View, Telscombe Cliffs, Peacehaven, pleaded guilty to possessing cannabis and resisting a constable doing his duty. Fined £140 plus £20 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Alain Mathias Lott, 24, of Dale House, London Road, Pyecombe, pleaded guilty to assault by beating. Also admitted committing a further offence while on a conditional discharge. Ordered to do 40 hours’ unpaid work and attend appointments with the responsible officer as required. Ordered to pay £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.

Oliver Craske, 27, of Lewes Road, Ditchling, pleaded guilty to drink-driving, driving without insurance, failing to give information when required relating to the driver of a vehicle alleged to have committed an offence. Fined £900, plus £45 victim surcharge and £85 costs. Banned from driving for 12 months.

Ethan Jacob Carpenter, 22, of Somerset Road, East Preston, Littlehampton, was convicted in his absence of driving without insurance. Fined £600, plus £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs.
