A van and a car collided leaving two people having to be cut out by firefighters.
At 8.45am this morning emergency services were called to Hawkswood Road, Hailsham, when a BMW saloon and a van collided in Hawkswood Road, Hailsham.
The two people travelling in the van became trapped and a crew from East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service managed to cut them out of the vehicle.
The road was closed and reopened at 11.15am.
The people from the van were taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital and a woman from the BMW was taken to Conquest Hospital in Hastings.
Their injuries were not assessed as serious
