A 56-YEAR-OLD man needed stitches and was arrested following a fight.

A 38-year-old woman and a 32-year-old man, both from Bexhill, were also arrested on suspicion of affray following the fight on Thursday.

The 56-year-old, from St Leonards, needed stitches for a cut to his head.

Police said a man and a woman were seen shortly after midnight being chased in Sackville Road, Bexhill, by a man who struck one of them over the head with “an object”.
