Plea over stolen harbour sign

First published in News

A HARBOUR sign has been stolen from the north entrance of Eastbourne’s Sovereign Harbour.

It was taken from a granite block and features the name of the harbour.

PC Ed Faulkner, of Sussex Police, said: “Sovereign Harbour is a lovely place to live and work, and its ornamental signage goes a long way to support that.

“The loss of this sign is disappointing as it affects the appearance of the area.

“If anyone knows of any information as to where this sign is now, or who is responsible for taking i,t please get in touch on 101.”
