AN AWARD-winning smash hit musical has arrived in Brighton straight from the West End.

After a three-year run in the capital, audiences at Theatre Royal Brighton are enjoying a one-week run of Rock of Ages.

The ultimate rock mix-tape musical is described as a hilarious story of dreams, love and rock. A celebration of classic 1980s rock culture, it tells the story of a small-town girl and a big-city rocker falling in love to the greatest songs of the decade.

It features favourite tunes such as We Built This City, The Final Countdown, I Wanna Know What Love Is and Don’t Stop Believin’.

The hit musical, which runs until Saturday, stars Ben Richards as Stacee Jaxx and Noel Sullivan as Drew Boley.

Ben is best-known for playing Bruno Milligan in ITV series Footballers Wives and is a judge on BBC’s Strictly Dance Fever. His theatre credits include Guys and Dolls, Saturday Night Fever and The Full Monty.

Meanwhile, Noel appeared in Priscilla Queen of the Desert at Theatre Royal Brighton last Christmas and has also appeared in West End productions of We Will Rock You and Grease. He is also a member of pop group Hear’Say.

Tickets are between £17.90 and £38.90.
