The A27 has reopened westbound after two blockages this morning.
A car hit the central reservation near the Shoreham flyover and a lorry broke down near the Southwick Hill Tunnel.
Police were called at 10.55am after reports of a car bumping into the central reservation near the Shoreham flyover.
There were no injuries.
Two lanes were closed all the way back to the tunnel, where the lorry had broken down, and caused congestion back to the A2038 King George VI Avenue and Devil's Dyke Road.
A diversion was in place down the A293 to Portslade and A270 Upper Shoreham Road.
The road reopened at 12.15pm.
